Mission Statement

We really do believe that every child matters. The safety, well-being, social and academic development of the students who attend our school are of paramount importance. By subscribing to this belief, we also acknowledge that everyone else is of equal importance including staff, members of our wider community and visitors.

Our belief that ‘Together We Will Achieve’, covers each individual’s development relating to the critical areas of social responsibility, academic success, emotional stability as well as personal accountability.

Within these four areas, Woodfield School seeks to help each child fulfil their potential by providing a safe and stimulating environment, within a supportive culture that helps pupils make sense of their own behaviour. Built into this ethos is the understanding that each young person is offered opportunities for reflection, as well as being encouraged to respond to the promotion of responsible citizenship.
