Achievement & Attendance

Achievement and successes, however small are always celebrated at Woodfield School.

At Woodfield School we monitor attendance daily. It is important that pupils attend school and arrive to lessons promptly. Pupils should aim to attend school for 95% of the time. If your child is unwell or has an appointment please inform school ASAP. This can be done by ringing school and leaving a message or through Class Dojo.

Every month we give a prize of “an afternoon off work” to the class with the highest attendance. We also publish pupil’s names who have had 100% attendance. At the end of every term we give prizes out to the pupils who have 100% attendance or much improved attendance.

School will contact you if your child’s attendance is dropping and can arrange for outside agencies to support you and school.

During September 29 pupils had 100% attendance!

Achievement assemblies are held in school on Monday and Friday. On Monday we have a general assembly just to gather as a school to share information. On Fridays we have our “Caught you being good “, and our Star of the Week celebration assembly. In both assemblies, we also celebrate sporting successes with “Man of the Match” “sportsman of the week” “Most Active class” awards.

We are proud to announce that we have received the quality music mark for primary schools.
